One half of popular husband and wife music group, Tunde and Wunmi Obe (TWO), Wunmi Tunde- Obe, has been appointed a non-executive director at PUNCH newspapers. The appointment of Wunmi Tunde-Obe, a daughter of Olu Aboderin, founder of the newspaper company, took effect from June 26 along with the company’s new chairman.

Along w i t h h e r husband, Wunmi has an impressive repertoire of songs including “Tomorrow”, “Adupe”, “Ire” “Rise” and “Bianu”, attended The Grange School and Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Lagos.

Between 1995 and 2001, she worked as a Senior Manager, Copywriting at LTC/JWT Advertising. In 2001, Wunmi, also the owner of Hair Afrique Beauty Salon, a subsidiary of United Hairways Beauty Company, founded KOPYKATS & Associates, a scriptwriting, music production and marketing company along with her husband. She is also the owner of Iya Ibadan Local Cuisine and Foods which promotes foods from Western Nigeria.
