Wearing the right pants and undergarments would make you confident and enhance your elegant look. You don’t want to be battling with panty ride-up all day; it will not only make you uncomfortable but also make you less confident. Your underpants should fit your curves firmly; therefore you should know your exact size. Here are simple steps that you can follow to help you know your accurate size.
To determine your accurate pant size you need to know your waist measurement and hip measurement. It is very easy and you can do it yourself or you could request a friend or partner to do it for you.
To know your waist measurement, place the measuring tape around the natural indentation or break in your waist. You can check for the indentation by bending to the side; wherever the crease appears is where your waist is. Record the figure.
Wrap the measuring tape on your hip around the fullest part. Ensure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor; also make sure the measurement tape is straight all around your hip; you can use a mirror to confirm. This is your hip measurement.
Using the measurements taken, refer to the chart below to determine your panties size. If you have measurement that represents two different panty sizes, choose the larger of the two sizes.
Perfect Panty Fit Checklist
A good pant should fit perfectly and comfortably and should have the following features:
Waistband is firm
The waistband should fit firmly but not binding or too tight. Your waistband should not be bunching up and rolling over in the front, if it does then you are wearing the wrong size. Your waistband should stay in place and be comfortable.
Buttocks is cupped
The fit around the buttocks should be balanced, symmetrical, and cupped. It should also cover your buttocks; if these elements are not present you should go for a bigger size. Your panties should not be riding up, if they do it means the elastic is probably shot and needs to be replaced.
The panty crotch should fit smoothly against your body. There should be no excessive fabric in the front or back, at the same time, it should not be too tight. If your panty has a front horizontal crotch seam, it should be visible from the front and not slip backwards. If it does, you may be wearing your panty backwards.
Legs fit snuggly
Your panty legs should not be too tight to the extent that they make lines along your thighs or dig into your flesh. The leg openings should be evenly arched on both legs, while the material should not be bunched or twisted. If you are still having trouble with binding legs, try using panties with a high cut leg style such as French cut.
Although it’s easy to get away with bad underwears because they are covered under our clothes, however as an elegant lady, your fashion should be complete; it should include both the outer garments and undergarments. Make an appraisal of your underwears; if the legs or waistbands of your panties are worn out or the back rides up, or the seams are frayed, it is time to throw them away. Paying attention to your undergarments is very important; though it rarely happens, believe me, you never want to be caught in an embarrassing situation like beingin an emergency room or dressing room wearing the underwear you never intended anyone to see!
