Folorunsho Alakija is a Nigeria billionaire businesswoman. She was born on 15th of July 1951. She is involved in fashion, oil, real estate and printing industries. Folorunsho is also the Group Managing Director of The Rose of Sharon Group which consists of The Rose of Sharon Prints & Promotions Limited, Digital Reality Prints Limited and the Executive Vice Chairman of Famfa Oil Limited. Alakija is also the founder of Rose of Sharon Global Ministry.

Alakija is ranked by Forbes as the richest woman in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $1 billion. Also, she has the majority stake in DaySpring Property Development Company.

While giving her speech, she added that, for you to receive, you must desire. You may have to go back to school to get mentorship. You might even have to undergo apprenticeship. However, she encourages everyone to go for the goal because no one would know what would have happened if they didn’t go for it.

According to Folorunsho, going for the goal might lead you to success. If you don’t try, you can’t know. Therefore, do not give up on yourself. You are to speak in faith rather than in disbelief. So, speak positively daily.
