Multi-talented on air personality; Vanessa Willie, popularly known as Lady V shares her opinion on the misrepresentation of Africa especially to the American populace during the Q and A section at the Mandela Washington Fellowship Presidential Summit Opening Ceremony in Washington DC.
The Enugu-based OAP got a lot of people talking after sharing her short speech during the discussion segment yesterday.
Natasha Kimani and Patience Kente from Kenya and Uganda respectively also discussed their experiences throughout the fellowship on stage.
Lady V is the host of a radio talk show; The Talk with Vanessa, which focuses on addressing societal ills that plague young minds especially youths from dysfunctional homes. She’s an event manager and planner with a background in Public Relations.
She recounts her experience in the United States in the course of the fellowship. “I have seen many things which mirror what I see in Nigeria, she stated. Yet, I still faced the ignorant questions such as “so, you speak English, etc…”
