Honesty is a character trait that is fading away in the society because people keep lying and saying things they do not mean. Also, people keep doing what they do not love and accommodating people who are extremely difficult to handle.

Well, it is safe to say that, honesty is a very important virtue anyone can exhibit in their daily activities. On the other hand, it is the most dangerous due to the responsibility that comes along with it.  There are notable traits with honest people, which are: they do not lie, they fulfil their promises, and they say things they know. Therefore, it is essential to be honest to both yourself and the surrounding people.

Honesty requires bravery. It is the courage to tell the truth no matter the consequences. Are you ready to tell your parents you stole the money? Are you really interested to tell your partner you cheated? So, if you can’t come to terms with this reality then, you need to check yourself because you are living in fear. The fear of the unknown.

It should be noted that there are consequences that come with you not being honest. The more you lie, the more you keep lying to survive the situation. Honesty is about being real to yourself and others about who you are, what you want and what you need to live your most life. It has great benefits, some of which are;
