Strawberry cupcakes are a little dessert to serve at home, birthday parties, baby showers or any form of celebrations. If not everyone, at least people love cakes. Cupcakes are different and they arouse a special feeling in human beings.
However, the moist and delicious cupcakes are made with tons of fresh strawberries and topped with an easy to make, and completely addictive buttercream. Cupcakes taste different and they come out in 6 or 12 in the ready-made pan.
Ingredients to Make Strawberry Cupcakes
- 2 ½ cups of flour
- 1 ½ cups of white sugar
- 2 ¾ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ¾ cup salted butter, room temperature
- ¾ cup pureed froze strawberries
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- Several drops of red/pink food colour or gel paste.
Note: these ingredients are used to make at least 18 cupcakes
How to Make Strawberry Cupcakes
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350⁰F. Then, line 18 cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. After, set it aside.
Step 3: After mixing, use an electric mixer to blend the butter with the strawberry puree. Then, add the flour mixture and blend until light and fluffy. Make sure it is very fluffy.
Step 4: In another bowl, whisk together the egg whites, milk and dye. You can add whites in three parts to the batter mixture, mixing only until incorporated after each addition.
Step 5: The next step is to fill the cupcake liners about ¾ full. Bake for about 18 to 22 minutes in the oven or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clear.
Step 6: Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
