The moment we believe that something good is coming in the future is called Hope. One person’s hope may be another person’s reality. This explains how varied goals and ambitions are one factor that keeps us going. For example, when a business man hopes to build his business empire across the globe, a wage worker hopes to just meet his daily needs. Also, another person hopes to finish school with a good grade while the other may just hope to go to school one day before she clocks 10 years old.
When life tries to pull you down, hope enables you to look forward for a better tomorrow. It is the anticipation that comes with having faith. A confident expectation. A peaceful assurance that something unseen will indeed come into fruition. Faith and hope work together because faith is found in absoluteness of past experience; hope gives attention to the potential of the future.
To believe in tomorrow is your ability to reaffirm that you have faith in God and that his promises will come to pass. It is understandable that in the world of today, it might be really difficult to believe especially in a time when you probably feel a little hopeless. But, “hope that is seen is no hope at all.”
So, your strongest form of hope comes when things seem hopeless. When you can’t see the good and the light at the end of the tunnel.
It should be noted that, embracing uncertainty comes with positives and negatives. If you take the time to appreciate the positives, your life will be much better and you will be grateful for every moment that you have today. Also, it is very easy to be caught up in those daily activities and not realise how much they have impacted you.
Therefore, God’s plans for you is not over; so hold on! Keep hoping and keep working smart. The best is yet to come.
